A Step-by-Step Guide
At The Dress cleaning Company, our priority is making sure your order is safe, secure and completed to the highest standard. However, we know how important it is to know what's going on with your garment along the way.

1. Place your order
Place your order for your chosen package, making sure to include any information that would be helpful for us or any box personalisation you require (if applicable).
2. Wait for your pack
Next, we'll send you out a pack by Royal Mail to package your dress in. This includes packing instructions to make sure your garment doesn't get damaged in transit.
3. Let us know when you've packed your garment
Once your garment is packed according to our guide and it's ready to go, get in touch with us so we can organise your DPD collection for a Monday or a Tuesday (this means we get it next day to avoid any delays).
4. DPD will pick it up
DPD will pick your order up and deliver it to us the next day. You can track your order from the moment it leaves your hands for peace of mind. We won't contact you from now until your dress is either ready to ship back or if there are significant repairs. Don't worry though, you can contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
NOTE: Yourself or a representative must physically hand over your order to your DPD courier in order for the insurance on your order to be valid. You cannot drop your order off at a depot or leave it in a safe place. We advise that you or a representative remain at the collection address throughout the day until DPD advise you of their collection timeslot.
5. We'll complete a diagnostic check
Our team will look at your garment in great detail to look for any repairs that need to be carried out. If there are significant repairs, we'll contact you with photographs and a quote to confirm if you'd like us to carry them out. If there are no major repairs to be done, you won't hear from us until your garment is completed and ready to come back to you.
6. We'll clean your garment
Next, the team will carefully wash and press your garment using gentle treated using gentle cleaning solvents to get rid of any imperfections, blemishes or stains. The garment will then be carefully dry cleaned.
Please note that while we will do our best to return your garment to as close to its former glory as we can, it has been lovingly worn, most likely been to a party and may have been subject to the spill of a tipple. Small imperfections may remain as an everlasting memory of the big day.
7. You'll get photos of your finished garment
Once your garment is ready to be returned to you, we'll be in touch with images of your finished item(s).
8. We'll arrange delivery
We'll also contact you to arrange for your order to be returned to you again by DPD and you'll receive tracking information. We dispatch orders on Mondays and Tuesdays for next day delivery. Once again, we advise that you or a representative remain in the delivery address throughout the day until DPD advise of a delivery timeslot.
9. Your garment is back with you!
Your garment is back safe in your hands, carefully cleaned and neatly pressed.
