    1. Insurance Coverage
      All dresses entrusted to our care are insured while in our premises and are insured during transit to and from our premises, covering the full monetary value of the dress. The transit insurance claim is valid up to the specified value of the dress, as stated at the time of booking.
      Customers are required to provide the full monetary value of the dress, including any alterations or additional features.

    2. Surcharge for High-Value Dresses
      For dresses valued over £999, an additional surcharge will apply.

    3. Eligibility for Insurance
      In order for the transit insurance coverage to remain valid, customers or a representative must be available to personally dispatch or receive their package via the DPD service.

    4. Notification of Loss or Damage
      To comply with DPD’s terms and conditions, any loss or damage resulting in a claim must be reported to us within 14 days from the dispatch date.

    5. Collection and Delivery Slots with DPD
      Collection and dispatch dates must be arranged by email at info@thedresscleaningcompany.co.uk. We do not accept collection requests through social media platforms.
      The Dress Cleaning Company is not responsible for any changes to collection or delivery times set independently with DPD. The Dress Cleaning Company cannot amend or request any specific timeslots within the DPD process.

    6. Delivery Information
      Deliveries will occur the day after the dispatch date. DPD will notify customers of their delivery time via text message and/or email on the day of delivery.
      A member of our team will confirm the dispatch date with you via email, and the parcel will not be released to DPD until this date is confirmed.

    7. Unsuccessful Collection

      If you are unavailable at the designated collection time, resulting in an unsuccessful collection, a fee of £10.50 will be charged for each subsequent collection attempt.

    8. Stain Removal Disclaimer

      While we strive to remove all stains to the best of our ability without damaging your wedding dress, some stains may be particularly stubborn and may not be entirely removed. Although we do not guarantee complete stain removal, we guarantee that we will clean your dress with the utmost care to achieve the best possible results while maintaining the integrity of the fabric. Should you have any queries regarding your dress upon receipt, please contact us within 14 days from receiving your dress.

    9. Diagnostics and Repairs
      Should the team find any substantial damage to the dress upon the diagnostic check, the order recipient will be informed with photo evidence and offered the option to have the alterations completed subject to an additional fee. The Dress Cleaning Company cannot be held responsible for any damage found within the diagnostic check. By using The Dress Cleaning Company’s services, customers will be considered in acceptance of this policy.
