Guide: Sending your Wedding Dress | The Dress Cleaning Company

Guide: Sending your Wedding Dress | The Dress Cleaning Company

Sending your wedding dress to us couldn't be easier!

Once you have placed your order, we will send a postage pack to you via Royal Mail.
Your postage pack contains everything you need to properly pack and safely send your wedding dress to us. We will include instructions, which are also below, for you to refer to.

Once your wedding dress is packed up, simply email us at info@thedresscleaningcompany.co.uk with your order number, address and preferred collection date.

(Please note: collection days are Mondays and Tuesdays, this is so your wedding dress arrives safely into our hands and is not left in a delivery van overnight).

We will then arrange for our fully insured courier to come to your door, collect your wedding dress, and deliver it direct to us.

How to Pack Your Wedding Dress

1. Lay your dress flat and place it into the white protective sleeve provided.

2. Fold skirt to centre and then fold the bodice over this.

3. Place your folded dress into the white mailing sack provided.

4. Please fill out the customer information sheet provided and enclose this in your package.

5. Apply our delivery label to the bag.

6. Let us know when your dress is ready to be collected by emailing us at thedresscleaningcompany@gmail.com. Our team will arrange a day and time for your dress picked up by our courier from Monday - Thursday.

7. RELAX! Your wedding dress is in safe hands. You can look forward to receiving your beautifully cleaned, repaired and packaged dress. The estimated date for return of your dress is *15 weeks (excluding Express Packages) from when your items arrive with us.

*This can vary depending upon our workload and if it is peak wedding season (between March and September).
